Weld Plate Positioning Clip

Patent Pending
As engineers we are frequently required to provide "fix" details for embed plates due to a blow-out, insufficient grout consolidation around the anchors, etc. The EZClip provides an effective method for securing embed plates, eliminating the need for "fix" details. The EZClip also ensures the embed plate is flush with the face of the wall - providing better grout consolidation around the anchors and increasing strength.

"For years as a mason I have struggled with embedded plate installation. Flush mounted weld plates are a particular problem. With EZClips, we now have a simple, effective way to position and hold weld plates for grouting.

A Simple Solution To Welding Plate Installation

  • Self Aligning - Positing the weld plate flush with the block front.
  • Self Adjusting - They will flex to fit most standard block wall thicknesses.
  • Out of the Way - Fitting flush to the wall they will not catch on clothes or equipment.
  • Inexpensive - Low cost and convenient to handle. No adhesive or wire to buy or lose.
  • Strong - Tough enough to support plates of all sizes quickly and safely (using proper spacing).
  • Removable Front - Just cut with trowel or chisel edge.

Note: All clips must be mortared when enstalling. Grouting must be according to UBC guidelines. The weld plate must have a min. of 1" from edge to post.
